remus had always been the opposite of his three best friends james, sirius, and pettigrew. when the other boys enjoyed pranking and making fun of the weaker, smaller, less talented than them, remus would usually make sure he was as far away as possible from them. he would hide in the library where he was convinced none of them could possibly come find him. even if he did not approve of the way they would constantly act, he usually did not do anything to stop them. it was pointless, after all. once before, he had tried and it was of him that the boys had made fun of all day long, poking at the things they knew about him that would hurt him. it had made him give up on trying to help and simply be indifferent about these kind of things. he had never been one to pick fights on anything and it was not going to start now, particularly not with his friends. not many knew that remus had been bitten not so long ago by a werewolf called greyback, and thus was, himself, a werewolf. the only ones who knew, in fact, were some of the teachers and his three best friends. as a sign of their friendship, the three of them had decided to become animagi to be with remus on his werewolf nights. the four of them would normally hang out at the shrieking shack during those nights. it was illegal, of course, for james, sirius and pettigrew to have become animagi on their own, which made the boy appreciate it even more. one thing was for sure and it was that he loved them. his parents were not very supportive when he was home. they were mostly scared of him when he would transform. the only support he ever would get was from james, sirius, pettigrew and sometimes lily. remus was the shy type. he barely ever talked to human beings of the other gender except from lily. she was his only female friend and, in fact, he did not complain. he was not like sirius, always jumping on everything that had two legs and breasts. he was the quiet, shy, observant type and no matter how hard the others tried to bring him out of his shell, he stayed in it. if a psychologist had analyzed how he acted in society, they would have probably determined that he was scared of it. he was not really sociable, mostly because of the fact that someone would end up using him. he would not really have understood why, in fact, but he guessed that some people might have had their reasons to use a werewolf in whatever way they found to be useful. he had difficulty trusting anyone. the boy made his way through the hallways as he stared down at his feet so he would not meet the questioning eyes of most people towards his appearance. most of them were used to his scruffiness and how he generally looked like he had spent most of his night up. however, today was worse than any other day. last night had been a pretty bad one and he was not sure he was going to be able to make it through the day. he headed over to slughorn’s class, holding his potions book tightly against his chest as if, if he didn’t, it would fly away and he would have to run after it. his imagination was definitely too developed. he finally entered the class. he was the first one, as always. sititng at a table, he reserved spots for his three friends and also one for lily, guessing she would be sitting with them, leaving only a spot next to him empty and to be filled by whoever would want to sit there. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - credit , to me tagged , OPEN OH YEAH. music , stuffies. outfit , clickers, bby.words , SIX THREE EIGHT. notes , remusssss. poor child D:

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are elyse blew the golden strand of her hair out of her face, much too concentrated in her book to bother with it herself. she was reading ahead on what she was going to do in potions class so that she wouldn't get left behind. although she was a sixth year, slughorn had allowed her to take his class sort of as a challenged to her. elyse gracefully accepted the challenge, though it was proving to be quite difficult when combined with all her other classes. which was why whenever she had a spare moment, she would sit down and read ahead. sadly, the hallways were much too crowded and noise had become too unbearable. elle could barely read her thoughts, let alone the book, as interesting as it might have been. she sighed loudly, and waited for five minutes, hoping the crowd would thin out. but elyse honestly had the worse luck ever. if anything the crowd seemed to be getting bigger and louder. she closed her book loudly, not that anyone could here, and grabbed her bag before getting up. lately, the school had been so crowded. it was a miracle anyone could concentrate. she thought about going to the secret hallway she had been in last time, before realizing that if that girl cori knew about it, others would as well. the library popped into her head but that would be just as crowded. elyse slipped the book into her bag and continued thinking. she was so consumed with her thoughts that she ignored the people waving at her. some had to tapp her on the shoulder before she even noticed. she apologized and went on her way, still trying to think of where to go. many of friends tried following her but they knew elyse well even to know that when she was into her thoughts. it was best not to bother her.
it sounded like the young girl had loads of friends, when really she had none. sure, she had close friends but many of her friends ditched her when word spread that she had an eating disorder. then she became an outcast. the thought saddened elyse. the whole reason she did it was to be well-liked and it ended up backfiring on her when she fainted in front of everyone. the flashback made goosebumps appear on elyse's arms. that was not something that she ever wanted to go through again. it too her a while to realize that she had ended up in her potions class. she thought about leaving then realized that class was about to start and there wouldn't be anyone in there for a while. elyse walked in and looked around. almost all the seats were empty except one. she recognized the boy, remus, she would stupid if she didn't. remus and his friends were known throughout the school as the marauders. elyse thought about where to sit when she noticed there was a seat right next to remus. she normally sat with people who she didn't care for, but remus seemed nice enough. she walked up to him and asked "is this seat taken". she wouldn't have minded if he said no, mostly everyone just scoffed at her. hopefully it wouldn't be the same this time.
AND WE'LL PRETEND THAT SHE'S ALLOWED TO GO IN THERE BECAUSE OF HER SMARTNESS XP
