astoria sighed loudly, getting stares from many people. usually she would have told them to shove it but she was in no mood for an argument. aside from that, slughorn was on patrol. it felt odd being taught by the younger looking slughorn. astoria had seen him before, he was a round fellow with a massive amount of wrinkles. now there were less wrinkles but he still looked the same. astoria stared for a while then looked down. he was talking about a love potion which astoria would have been only too happy to learn but she had missed breakfast and she was dying of starvation. ten minutes passed before slughorn let them leave. astoria practically ran out, shoving a few classmates in the process. she yelled an apology before making her way to her room. she always kept a stash of food hidden under her bed. suddenly she stopped in her tracks, remembering that she was no longer in her own time. which meant there was no food. astoria cursed loudly before walking to the great hall, hoping that they had started serving lunch. when she got there, students were barely walking in. astoria quickly headed to the closets spot, knowing that it would fill up fast. she was so anxious for the food that she didn't notice that the seats besides her were filling up.

took a car downtown where the lost boys meet , never the type to concern himself with houses when a pretty girl was involved, sirius found himself wandering over toward the slytherin table, a small smirk pulling at the corners of his lips. it seemed rather bold, considering he was a gryffindor, but that was just his style. out of the group, sirius had always been the carefree type, never concerned with labels, responsibilities, or work. in fact, when he wasn't studying, or goofing off with james, he was wooing girls around campus.
slipping into the spot next to her, he reached for a single carrot and took a bite, watching her curiously. so love, how come i've never seen you around before? chewing the rest of the carrot politely, he rested his elbows on the table-top. i definitely would have remembered you. with a wink, he brushed his hair back from his eyes, giving her a once-over.

astoria tapped her foot impatiently. she had to control herself from biting what was left of her nails. honestly, these habits were going to ruin her one day. she wished everyone would just sit down already so that she could get some food. there were small snacks, like vegetables but astoria was never one to eat healthy. if anything, she was a total junk food junkie. she was so into her thoughts about all the delicious food that would soon be within her reach that she almost didn't hear the voice sitting right next to her. astoria was sure that the only reason she even realized someone talked to her was because he continued talking. she turned to look at him, and it was easy to say that she liked what she saw. now tori enjoyed having boys attention, even at times when she starving. so it was easy to say that she did not notice the boy's house or anything else. not that she would care anyways, a cute boy was a cute boy. "maybe you haven't been paying much attention" astoria said.

took a car downtown where the lost boys meet , like most guys his age, sirius liked the type of girl that could keep up with his quips and lines. you see, he wanted a girl that had substance, not just a pretty face. which, unfortunately, came as a surprise to his fellow classmates, seeing as he was quite the notorious player at hogwarts. of course, he didn't exactly mind the title, considering it made it loads easier to find willing partners.
resting his chin on his hands, sirius ginned across the small space between them. i guess i haven't, he sighed, pouting his lips the slightest bit. but now that i've finally taken notice, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself. it seems such a shame not to get to know such a gorgeous girl.
with another wink, he reached out and grabbed a stick of celery, biting into it and waiting patiently for a response, eyes watching her instead of wandering about the room. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

astoria was glad that she had actually bothered to do her hair today. usually she was far too lazy or to tired to even bother with such nonsense. but it was times like these that made her realize why she bothered to in the first place.tori was almost certain that this boy was not from her time. none of the boys would have had the courage to go up to her. for some reason, boys were intimidated by her. probably because she could beat them and flirt with them at the same time. anyways, astoria was actually glad for once that she was thrown into this time period. a blush spread through astoria's cheeks which she hid rather well. thank god for long hair. "you know i would but i don't know your name and momma always told me never to talk to strangers." astoria said with a smirk. she would never divulged much about herself, at least not at first. she didn't want boys to know things about her then ditch her when they got bored. she needed to have fun too.

took a car downtown where the lost boys meet , sirius had never cared much for his physical appearance, and even though he neglected to brush his hair and iron his clothes, girls still seemed to faun over him. he'd never understood why, considering he didn't think himself to be that attractive, but he did have confidence, and according to mrs. potter, that was all that mattered. besides, who was he to deny the fact that he loved the attention?
lifting his free hand, sirius tucked the girls hair behind her ear with a smile. well, in that case..
clearing his throat, he dropped his celery onto his plate and extended his arm. the name's sirius, and it's a pleasure to meet you. with a grin, he waited for her to grasp his hand. not so much of a stranger now, am i? he laughed, dimples deepening as his smile widened. astoria let a smile slide on to her face, not really caring anymore that her blush had been exposed to this boy, maybe he would find it adorable, or maybe he would just think he had her where he wanted her. either way, it would work out in astoria's favor. her eyes almost widened a bit when she heard his name. there were many things she learned upon coming to this time period. one of them being that the marauders were basically the people to know, or hate in her case. then again, she dind't really follow the norm and while her slythering brethren might choose hate them, she was all for flirting with one of them. still, she tried not to make a big deal out of it. she was glad she hadn't showed any bit of shock. acting cool was her forte, most of the time. "hmm that's true, you're not much of a stranger anymore, sirius" she said while a smile. she moved her hand to grasp his. god, his smile was too die for. something told astoria that this boy was going to cause her heart quite a bit of trouble. oh she couldn't wait. but astoria never dared rush. it made her look desperate and she was just the opposite. "well since you're not a stranger i guess i'll tell you my name....i'm astoria" astoria said.
